Asia and the Pacific Transport Forum 2024

TFP

The Asian Development Bank hosted its transport sector flagship event, the Asia and the Pacific Transport Forum 2024 last 14-17 May, with the theme “Clean Transport For All,” focusing on ADB as the climate bank and how the transport sector can decarbonize as well as ensuring climate resilience of transport infrastructure.

Since 2008, ADB have hosted this Transport Forum every 2 years as a gathering of the region’s transport experts and sector stakeholders. The Forum has grown to become the region’s premier transport knowledge event, where the sector’s leaders and experts can have an open dialogue and share international best practices and experiences, such as moving towards improved road safety in the region.

Other key corporate agendas on gender, social development, and digitalization were covered, alongside sector-specific topics such as in rail, urban transport, smart mobility, and road system operations.

See photos, agenda, and presentations here in the event website. Watch the plenary and parallel session recordings in this ADB Transport Sector's YouTube playlist.
